TimberTech decking boards have an excellent reputation on the polymer decking market. TimberTech Legacy Collection Tigerwood is one of the company’s most popular options. It expertly combines the look of real hardwood with advanced polymer technology. The result is a stunning appearance and impressive durability.
Tigerwood by TimberTech features a soft, smooth brown tone with a deep wood grain. Made from engineered polymer, the boards are capped with a protective shell. TimberTech Legacy Collection Tigerwood decking boards are insulated against mold, mildew, and moisture. They’re also resistant to stains, scratches, and fading.
TimberTech decking boards still look good as new decades after installation. They come with a 25-year scratch and stain warranty.

TimberTech Legacy Collection Tigerwood boards are popular for good reason. In addition to looking great and resisting harsh weather, they’re easy to install. These boards perform great when installed with CONCEALoc® hidden fastener systems. They provide a smooth, fastener-free surface.
In addition, FUSIONLoc® hidden fasteners also work well with TimberTech boards.
You can also install TimberTech Legacy Collection boards with other fastener styles. TOPLoc™ and Cap-Tor Face Fastening Systems work when installing square-edge boards for the main deck or for picture framing, stairs, and skirting.
Cortex or Pro Plug fasteners are another option. Made from the same material as the deck’s boards, these fasteners ensure a flawless surface.
Note that the deck’s underneath joist must be 16” on-center. If you plan to install the decking boards diagonally, the underneath joists’ structure must be 12” on-center. In the latter case, you’ll end up spending around 35 percent more on fasteners than you would with joists 16” on-center.
TimberTech Legacy Collection Tigerwood boards make any home’s exterior stand out. Some leading contractors in Toronto use them as a main deck without picture framing. If you want to add a picture frame, there are some good options. Main decks tend to look best with darker picture framing. TimberTech Legacy Collection Mocha is a perfect contrast for the lighter-toned Tigerwood.
TimberTech Legacy Collection Tigerwood decking boards come with included raisers and fascia boards (0.56” x 7¼” x 12’ & 0.56” x 11.75” x 12’, respectively). The raisers and fascia boards are the same color as the main deck.
